Hello Monday!
Hope the weekend was good to you. I’ve been working on a project for a little girl these day that has lots of tulle! (I will show you the finished dress when I finish it.Wish me luck!) When I see how much work is entailed with a kid’s multilayered tulle skirt, it gets me thinking of how much work is involved in making a bride’s dress….and naturally I get lost in wedding wonderland again. Everytime I pick up a copy of Wedluxe magazine, I get lost in all the beautiful colour palettes and new couture styles of the season. One thing I’ve always liked is a small splash of colour in the bride’s ensemble. I wore blue shoes on my wedding, not so daring I know, but it was the perfect touch of fashion while still keeping the traditional white bride look in tact.
Here is one of my favourite accent colours for a bride; Blush! Soft, feminine, and not too much.

I admire the bride who is a bit more daring with colour. Here are some other spiced up bridal looks I love. 🙂
Touch of TUXEDO BLACK…

And VINTAGE RED….

And a glitz of GOLD..
Hope you enjoyed some of this inspiration!
