I hope that you all enjoyed your weekend! It has been a while since I’ve been so busy in baby-land, but I thought I would jump back into fashion mode for a few minutes. It is so important to keep up to speed on your passions and what interests you, and to not get lost in babyville… even though it is so rewarding being a mother, it’s important to find some balance once in a while.

I was scoping out the Resort 2016 runway shows and couldn’t help but notice that the 1970’s California Boho Beauty vibe is still strutting it’s stuff down the runways. There’s a play on the whole late 70’s to early 80’s era. It ranges from softer more “hippy”-like silhouettes of empire waists and flowy maxi skirts, to a more “Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface” vixen vibe of jumpsuits and plunging necklines.
