One of my fashion obsessions has always been the the evening gown and it’s glamorous garnishes! I’ve more recently gotten hooked on pairing the power suit’s blazer with these gowns or evening skirts for an edgier evening look. I love something about the contrast between with the stronger statement of a jacket and the softer flow of what’s underneath. It just so happened that while writing this tonight and watching the 57th Annual Grammy awards, one of my favourite power women, Katy Perry, came on stage donning a beautiful minimalistic two piece ensemble by Maison Valentino.
