I think it is only fitting that my first fashion post be about this new stage in my life….NOT fitting into any of my clothes anymore! Well, with good reason of course…. The real news is that I am expecting our first baby! We are blessed and so excited to be welcoming our new little bundle in the Spring. It is a beautiful time but sometimes your body doesn’t feel so wonderful so since I am 29 weeks pregnant, a fashion designer, and new at the whole “dressing with a big belly” thing, I thought I would share some of my maternity outfit ideas with you. It was not easy slowly growing out of your clothes, and also having to dress in the coldest winter months in Canada. At about 4 months along, I learned to fully let go of the “pre-preggo” part of my closet and go out and buy some easy essentials that would take me through the winter months.
I went on a sweater frenzy at Aritzia, legging-happy at thyme maternity, and bought a few oversize flowy pieces from h&m to alternate throughout these “big” months. Here are some of my outfit ideas..Lots of Layers, Leggings, and Leopard.
